Birth of a Nation

If you want to take over the world, the world has to know who you are. It requires interactions on a national level. Therefore, when trying to take over the world, step one should be to establish a nation. This sounds like a daunting task, I know, but there's always people who are willing to support a cause. It doesn't even have to be a good one! Just look at [Insert name of U.S. Presidential Candidate you didn't vote for]!

Anyway, I went ahead and started my very own nation and satisfied all of the requisites for statehood. According to the Montevideo Convention of 1933, a state should have:

  1. A permanent population,
  2. Defined territory,
  3. Government, and
  4. The capacity to enter into relations with other nations.

That's a pretty short list! My nation, Uberia, easily satisfies all of these. Well, maybe not easily, some of it was pretty difficult, and since we are a Constitutional Monarchy, I'm not sure how many people are actually satisfied with me. At any rate, Uberia is growing and that's more than can be said of many nations these days.

So come one, come all, to glorious Uberia.
